High School Senior Portraits in Ventura at the beach...

First of all, my sincere apologies for totally neglecting my blog for TWO months. I have no excuse except I have been hanging out with my family! I think that's a good one. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. I am going to try to catch you up today on what I have been up to!

Destination family portrait session at the beach in Malibu...

This is a great idea...when you are on vacation...book your family a portrait session! This family was really thinking...their daughter is a high school senior next year so I took her senior portraits and seeing the whole family is together--we added on a family session!

I just love these shots in black and white--they would make an awesome wall grouping together.

Destination High School Senior Portraits!

This is Whitney and she is here in MALIBU from KENTUCKY for her high school senior portraits. She said she didn't tell any of her friends back home that she was coming out here...so when they ask "Where did you have these taken?" She is going to blow them a way when she says "Malibu!". High School Senior Portraits in Ventura...

I have to tell you taking senior photos is getting me a little emotional...As I shoot, off to the side, is a Mom sitting patiently by herself (she looks as though she is soaking in her son) and I think to myself YIKES it won't be long and my little baby Joey will be going to college...makes me savor these times all the more. I know, I know it's like 16 years away--but STILL...time flies! My little dude is turning 2 on April 2nd.
