Family Portrait Session in Montecito

This is so cool! In 2005 I photographed the couple on the far rights wedding and last week I had the great privilege of photographing their family. It's just so neat to see a family as they grow...I love that!

This is their baby! Isn't he precious!!

Ear Infection #6 in one year!

Can you imagine 6 ear infections in one year? Crazyness!! Here's the good part--it's hard to tell he even has one because he doesn't act any different except for he will wake up once in the middle of the night with a sudden cry. I actually thought he had a bad dream but turns out it's his ears. Of the 6--3 have been double's. This is a double! Praise God for antibiotics.

Merry Christmas!

Joey and Daddy.

He sees a doggy.
Ok, the photo below was taken this morning as Joey watched a video our day care provider Michelle made for us of photos from this past year of all the kids. He's playing playdough and yelling out the kids names. I love when he says his own name "JOEY!".
We had a very nice and mellow Christmas this year. We went to Christmas Eve service on Monday and then had a couple of friends over for our traditional lasagna dinner. Played a few games--it was really nice! Then Christmas day Nick made a nice big breakfast and we watched Joey open his gifts. He was sort of not sure what to do. It was a great opportunity to practice our thank-yous! After naps we went to the park with Joey---it was really great light and we had the park all to ourselves. We finished off the day with grilled cheese and tomato soup and movie (I love movies---and ice cream!). I hope you had a wonderful day celebrating the Lords birth!

Family Portrait Session...Thousand Oaks

Little Timmy is the perfect age for capturing that contagious smile! We went to a park and saw ducks and played in the leaves. At the end of the session I kept thinking I should have brought Joey---these two little nuggets would have had so much fun together.

I'm 2 YEARS old!!!

Isn't she the cutest!!! I had a blast watching her just be herself. Kids have the greatest imaginations. At one point she had her sand pale full with water and then collected leaves from the yard and started washing them in the pale as if she were doing dishes or laundry--so cute!
