My good friends Laura and Mario are MARRIED!!!

Loved her make-up!! I think the name of the girls was Cowboys and Angels. Great job. Highly recommend the eyelashes--they are so pretty!!

Laura's Momma! She looks so good!!

Laura's sister teaching my son how to eat ice cream.
(As if a child doesn't know how, right?)

Here's my son practicing her technique.

And all together now!! I think he has it down.

They took their guests on the SB Land Shark for a reception spin around town. For those who are not familiar with the Land Shark--it's a bus and a boat all in one. It was really fun!!

It was a great day! I am so HAPPY for you two!! Now where are the babies! Haha.

Miravilla Garden Wedding in Somis...

What do you think of the image above?
I used a filter on it and I think it's pretty cool.
Isn't she gorgeous!!

The groom asked for this shot...I think it's really fun!

The photo above is her reaction to seeing her Dad. You can just sense they have a special relationship.

When I asked if they wanted a shot of their rings this is what I got. These two crack me up! They were made for eachother!

Love these!

I think this shot of the kids is awesome--you just know it'll show up in a slideshow at one of their weddings.

Let's just say they had FUN!

Destination family portrait session at the beach in Malibu...

This is a great idea...when you are on vacation...book your family a portrait session! This family was really thinking...their daughter is a high school senior next year so I took her senior portraits and seeing the whole family is together--we added on a family session!

I just love these shots in black and white--they would make an awesome wall grouping together.

This is the PERFECT time to start thinking about Christmas photos...your tan and have plenty of time to order your cards, gifts, etc. Call me today if you are interested in a family session...805.469.3505!

Sit back with a latte...Santa Barbara wedding...

LOVE this Melissa Sweet dress!

Her eyes are amazing!

They are big coffee drinkers so they had a barista at the wedding...
I had a hot chocolate (I know it sounds boring)--it was the BEST hot chocolate ever!!!

This was such a FUN wedding! We had an hour and a half with the bride to get some getting ready shots and shoot some neat images at 2 different locations and we had about an hour with the groom as well (again shooting at 2 locations). They had limited group photos on their list which allowed us to spend more time getting creative images! And let me tell ya the time was well spent--I think everyone had a great time...I know I sure did!!

May God bless our soldiers and this great country!

These few shots were taken at the Oxnard Sea Bee Days parade last weekend. It was an emotional visit...As I held my 2 year old son in my arms on the pavement I watched as fighter jets flew overhead and big tanks fired off machine gun blanks while hundreds of men and women marched by my feet...and I cried through the whole thing. I am proud of them for their role in keeping this nation from harms way so that I can play outside with my kid without fear but it pains me that sons and daughters, mothers and fathers are put in a position to use these things in the first place and the reality that some of the people that proudly walked before me that day may die for us....harsh...yikes...I think I am going to loose it again while I type.

We go about our day as we always do and often forget that our country is at war and has been...each day people are put in dangers way...each day they need our prayers...please take one minute right now to pray for the sons and daughters, mothers and fathers serving our country and the families that wait for them to come home. It's what we can do for those who are giving so much for us.

Destination High School Senior Portraits!

This is Whitney and she is here in MALIBU from KENTUCKY for her high school senior portraits. She said she didn't tell any of her friends back home that she was coming out here...so when they ask "Where did you have these taken?" She is going to blow them a way when she says "Malibu!". We had a blast! Thank you Whitney.

Daddy delivers his baby girl!

I gotta tell you it is a real privilege to photograph the birth of a new baby! This one was QUICK. I talked to them around 9 in the morning and they said she was 3cm and not to come to the hospital yet because they had a long way to go. Well at 10:29am I got a call from the Mommy..."I am getting ready to push...so come on down". I was like "WHAT! Ok ya know I am like 1 minutes away right" she says "well you might want to hurry up". I pulled into the parking lot at 10:44am ran like crazy to her room and the baby born at 10:52am!!! It was quite the rush. An amazing experience. I know some people out there might think having a photographer at their birth is a little weird but trust me when I say---you will be OH so glad you did if you do. If you are interested--please give me a call. Obviously it gets a little tricky to book something like this.
